I am originally from Columbia SC where I attended Irmo high school and played football as a proud Yellow Jacket. I also spent much of my youth bass fishing on Lake Murray or local ponds and rivers.
After graduating from Irmo I went to Midlands Technical College and earned my Associate in Arts degree before transferring to the University of South Carolina where I graduated with a diploma in Media Arts, with a minor in video production.
I began in the mortgage industry in 1998 at The Money Source while in my last semester at U.S.C., where only after 2 months was the top producer, and after 4 months offered a position to manage the soon to be opened Charlotte branch.
I chose to decline the offer to move to Miami Beach. In April of 1999 I moved to Charleston, SC I and got a job as a loan officer for a small correspondent lender in Mt. Pleasant. After moving my way up the ladder over the next 5 years to manager/account executive I then earned equity in the company as co-owner of Unlimited Mortgage. Shortly thereafter I decided to go out on my own and opened Mortgage Professionals, LLC in the fall of 2002 where I have been blessed to have great associates contribute to the success of the company. |
